Dækimporten Horsens blev startet i 1986 og har siden haft som mål at sælge dæk og aluminiumsfælge til lavest mulige priser. Dette mål er gennem årene opnået ved bl.a. parallelimport af dæk og fælge fra udlandet.
Parallelimport lyder for nogen negativt, eftersom der i de forløbne år har været megen debat om specielt dæk, der er importeret på denne måde. Vi kan derfor med god samvittighed oplyse, at de dæk, som vi importerer, fuldt ud opfylder de krav, man fra lovgivernes side stiller, og at alle dæk er beregnet til at køre under europæiske forhold. Parallelimport foregår inden for mange områder (tøj, medicin osv.) med samme resultat:Den samme vare, men til en lavere pris, og det er med til at holde konkurrencen knivskarp. Vi køber i dag en større del af vort sortiment i Danmark netop for at sikre bedre leverancer.Det gælder f.eks. dæk fra GoodYear, Yokohama, Cooper og BF Goodrich.
Vores leverandører i udlandet er blandt de største fælg- og dækgrossister, ikke blot i Europa, men også på verdensplan.Dét er med til at sikre et stort og billigt udvalg samt hurtig levering! Dækimporten har siden sin start været en af pionererne indenfor salg af aluminiumsfælge - endda med egen import direkte fra fabrikkerne - og er i dag agent for fælgfabrikanterne Mille Miglia, RC design og Brock. Alle er europæiske fabrikanter, og de er valgt ud fra et kvalitetskrav, der gør, at vi ikke vil sælge "for billige" fælge og have de deraf følgende problemer. Alle de fælge, som vi sælger, er omfattet af forskellige garantiordninger.
Dækimporten er i dag en af Danmarks største forhandlere af alufælge og er med helt fremme med de sidste nye trends. Vi holder hele tiden øje med hvad der sker rundt om os i resten af Europa og USA.I de senere år har vi udvidet vores sortiment til også at omfatte bilstereo, navigation, styling ,lattergas og sænkning. Alle disse nye tiltag sælges selvfølgelig efter samme princip. Dækimporten Horsens ejes i dag af Martin Boye, som overtog firmaet den 1. Januar 1997 fra den oprindelige ejer. Martin har i flere år arbejdet inden for bilbranchen på forskellige områder.

Martin var bl.a. én af bagmændene bag Jens Nybo’s Top Fuel Dragracing Team som vandt Europamesterskabet i verdens hurtigste motorsport i 1995 og 1996. I 1998 blev teamet nr. to i Europa.
